Western Marine delivers dredger to Chittagong Port
Chittagong, January 17, 2012: Western Marine Limited, the country’s leading shipbuilding industry in Bangladesh, delivers a repaired dredger to the Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) today, January 17.

CPA chairman Cdre Muhammed Anwarul Islam took the delivery of the dredger at a ceremony held at the Chittagong port gate Jetty 1. Heads of different government bodies, foreign experts, industrialists and other professionals were attend the handing over ceremony.read more »

Western Marine Services to deliver dredger M.D. KHANAK To Chittagong Port after extensive repair work
Chittagong, January 15, 2012: Western Marine Services Limited, will deliver a repaired dredger to the Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) on January 17.

It is the only trailing suction hopper dredger named “M.D. KHANAK” in Bangladesh, which has been made operational after arduous repair work done by the Western Marine Services. The repair work costs BDT49.0 crore. read more »

Western Marine delivered two ships to Karachi Port
Chittagong 05 January 2012: Western Marine Shipyard has delivered two passenger ships to Karachi Port Trust in Pakistan (KPT) today.

The ships were delivered through a function at the Western Marines shipyard in Chittagong. Industry minister Dilip Barua was present as chief guest and High Commissioner of Pakistan H.E. Afrasiab was present as special guest at the function. read more »
